DAVID DUCASSE

Principal & Drama Co-ordinator

With a varied and diverse Entertainment background David has worked in theatre as a Performer, Writer, Choreographer and Producer. On TV he has appeared on local and national programmes including Top of The Pops, GMTV, The National Lottery and presenting on Cable TV for MTV and The Disney Channel. He has worked extensively in cabaret as a Performer and Choreographer, as well as being a member of the EMI & Warner Records pop group SCOOCH who represented the UK in the 2007 Eurovision song Contest.

David has enjoyed working with pupils in over 16 productions.  He is extremely committed to the school's success and enjoys the opportunity of working with so many gifted and enthusiastic young Performers. He has an HND in Musical Theatre & a Degree in Performance.

 

 

 

 

 

ASHLEY LAMB

Choreographer & Dance Co-ordinator

Ashley has been involved in tap, modern and ballet dancing since the age of four and has trained at two of the regions most prestigious dance schools.  She has performed in a variety of different shows both amateur and professional.  Having gained her dance teaching qualification, specialising in ballet, Ashley has opened up her own dance school alongside her sister Shelley.  She is very much looking forward to becoming part of the team and choreographing future productions for the school.

As well as teaching for Performers Stage and Dance School, Ashley teaches Law and Politics at a local Comprehensive School and Sixth Form.

 

 

 

 

 

STACEY GHENT

Vocal Choreographer & Music Co-ordinator

Stacey trained in Musical Theatre at Newcastle College's Performance Academy and went on to gain a degree in Music & Performance at University of Sunderland. As a performer and musician Stacey has performed at venues across the North East and UK, winning many competitions and accolades.

Stacey has taught at a number on stage schools, and currently works as a Primary School
